The creation of our turquoise and maroon Boho wall on the far right was a custom order. The client wanted a paper flower wall and provided the inspiration board you see. Taking inspiration from the arched gypsy wagon we decided to created a very segmented wall of bright turquoise and shades of pinks, maroons, and oranges with a subtle arching effect.  The small daisy flowers on the bottom created a 'solid' background in just the perfect palette without distracting your focus from the bride and groom while a riot of color in the overarching topper added the perfect touch of riotous color and carefree abandon. Flowers were dyed, water colored, and hand painted to achieve this gorgeous tonal effect.

Review From The Planner

Sarah Blome is a not only a gifted artist but she is also extremely good at helping create a vision. We had a Pinterest board full of pictures and ideas but not a clear vision. Sarah was able to take all our ideas and created the most magical design imaginable. Our guests couldn't stop talking about her flowers. Flowers don't begin to describe the impact her designs have. They were more like art pieces. Sarah is one talented young lady. I can't recommend her enough.

Mexican engagement

Perla and her fiancé had a tree that is “their tree” and Rudolph her fiancé packed up a picnic and took her to their tree to propose. For their engagement photos they wanted to recreate this moment, but add some fiesta styling that would tie in with their wedding décor.
We decided to set up a few different scenes, a picnic area with a blanket and a tree branch decorated in paper flowers, which were obviously a must for a mexican fiesta themed engagement. This was the fully themed, all out, Modern Mexican day, with nods to their proposal.
We decorated the tree limb with large colorful hand painted structured paper flowers and strings of miniature paper Pom poms as a nod to more traditional tissue Mexican paper flowers. We used pink, orange and yellow flowers and painted chairs in the bright turquoise as a sneak peek of their wedding colors and added Novio and Novia (bride and groom signs) to herald their heritage.

Review From the Bride

I went to Sarah Blome from Blome's Paperie after seeing her amazing creations with paper on her website. I needed help in creating a Mexican styled backdrop with a modern twist using bright colored paper flowers for our engagement photos. When I met with her I shared my ideas and she was able to take my vision and make it a thousand times better. Sarah was great at providing quick feedback and suggestions to make our engagement photos just breathtaking. I greatly appreciate the time she took to do research on our theme. She will definitely go out of her way to style your wedding or photo shoot and make it perfect. Sarah is very professional. She responds to e-mails quickly and is so easy to work with. I can't wait to see how beautiful our venue will be on our wedding day with the talent and creativity of Blome's Paperie.
