Southwestern Terracotta and White Wedding

Sarah Jane’s family has deep south Texas roots and she wanted her wedding to showcase southern hospitality.  She loved old world hacienda elegance, but not colorful Mexican. Classic, yet modern, and she wanted to incorporate her mother’s gorgeous terracotta church collection, and flowers, lots and lots of flowers. Did we mention mom loved the CoCo Chanel runway white paper flowers? These were some of the inspiration ideas for this stunning wedding and reception.   We combined these elements by creating an amazing all white, lighted backdrop for the live band. The backdrop flowers were hand painted with accents of pearlescent paint to reflect the effects of the shifting colored lights and the backdrop pulsed to the beat of the band all night long.  The terracotta churches were displayed along the mantles of multiple fireplaces at the venue and then covered with dripping white vines and roses to evoke old world charm. Lastly, the ceiling was covered with balloons, ribbons and 500 hanging roses to continue the festive and glamorous ambiance.
